As a blogger who loves to content every mealβespecially while on vacationβI was thrilled to find this spot! I stopped by yesterday with my son for a relaxing lunch, and it was clean, peaceful, and not crowded at all.The food was incredible: the laing, whole chicken, and garlic rice were seasoned to perfection and tasted amazing. To wash it down, the buko juice was refreshing, and the two halo-halos we ordered were fantastic and totally camera-ready. The only funny snag was that the Jufran banana ketchup was gelatin-thick and refused to budge from the bottle π, but everything else was spot on. A great food stop for anyone traveling through the area!

It was second time to visit this place - mostly due to good food and great service. This time we took beef stew, pork, chicken and noodles - all of them tasty and served in large portions, which can be shared. Food was served quite fast, although we took four different dishes.

This is our experience for using Max's Restaurant for a private event. Jochelle and the entire staff of Max's did an amazing job with the set-up and decor. Communications between everyone was done through email. Jochelle responded quickly and laid out what could and couldn't be done. We did went to the restaurant to go through the options for food and back-up plans because the food alone is good enough reason to visit anytime. On the day of the event, no one in our party had to do anything. Max's staff constantly made sure the food and drinks we're filled. As for the decor and atmosphere, our expectations were greatly surpassed. Their table set-up looked better than 90% of weddings and private events I've attended. The buffet table at the back was very clean and looked elegant. Food tastes amazing. Palabok is perfect. They didn't skimp on the shrimps in the chopsuey. The fish was great. The Max's fried chicken was on Max level. Madali rin mag-Sharon pagkatapos ng party. Nag-bigay sila ng maraming to-go container para maiuwi ung mga natirang pagkain. My Filipina wife and I stopped in for lunch Saturday. I mention that my spouse is Filipina because we have been married 41 years. In that time I have eaten a lot of Filipino restaurants and I KNOW my Filipino food. I am a foody who loves to cook and trust me, I know how. The place is very nicely decorated, clean, and air conditioned. However, there were several flies buzzing our table and that was very annoying. In 2026 most U.S. restaurants do not have flies buzzing the patrons so this should be dealt with. Wait staff was friendly and drinks, appetizers, food were all delivered to the table in decent time. We had fresh lumpia which was ok; It didn't really taste fresh and the sauce needs more flavor. I drank water but my wife had sago and gulaman with espadrilles. She said it was ok but tasting it I think it had so much sugar! For dinner I had the Whole Fried Chicken with french fries and my wife had Crispy Pata (marinated deeep fried pork hock with special sauce). The chicken was good flavor skin a little dry (overcook?). The fries were blah. The crispy pata was good. We also ordered a Pancit Bihon which I found disappointing; everything too slippery (oil?). In sum

We celebrated my husband's birthday here and had lunch. The service was top-notch! Our server RACHEL was very attentive, polite, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She and the rest of the crew that day helped make my husband's birthday even more special. Excellent customer service and a wonderful dining experience. Love their Bulalo.
